The traditional education system often focuses on rote memorization and fixed curricula. However, nurturing cognitive flexibility prepares students to thrive in settings requiring critical thinking and adaptability. Challenges and Limitations

The Future of Cognitive Flexibility and Intelligence

Traditional IQ tests and linear thinking models no longer suffice to capture the multifaceted nature of human cognition. Cognitive flexibility, with its emphasis on adaptability and innovation, is increasingly regarded as a critical component of modern intelligence.

Incorporating cognitive flexibility into broader definitions of intelligence requires redefining success and competence. It prompts a shift from valuing static knowledge to valuing the capacity to learn, unlearn, and relearn.
